The Finchley Ballet School have been teaching dance to children from babies to young adults for over 50 years in the North London community and pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and the caring, friendly and fun atmosphere we provide.
We teach Ballet, Jazz and Tap and our teachers are highly trained and accredited from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) whose syllabi we teach.
Our classes start for pre-school children from the age of 3 and we have classes to suit all ages and levels from beginners to advanced. We aim to give every child the opportunity to work towards their full potential and dance aspirations. For the majority learning dance is simply a great fun activity; a way of expressing themselves through music and movement. With our training they will develop coordination, strength, good posture and an elegant poise which will stand them in good stead as they move into adulthood.
For those students who show talent, commitment and a passion to pursue dancing at a high level or career, our training provides an excellent foundation. Over the years our students have secured dance scholarships to secondary schools and places at the Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet, Elmhurst Ballet School and other distinguished vocational dance schools.
