We give every student from Pre-Primary stage onwards the opportunity to be entered for a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded syllabus examination if they have reached the required standard. In addition we prepare more advanced students for the vocational graded examinations (Majors).
While examinations are optional we do encourage our students to participate and gain official recognition for their dance achievements.
The RAD is the worlds largest ballet examination board and its exams are recognised by the national qualifications regulators of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland with selected exams carrying a UCAS tariff towards University admission.
We hold Royal Academy of Dance examinations every term at our own venues and cater for all grades. Most students from the age of 6 will have the opportunity, when they are ready, to take an exam for their grade in any given term.
