Each term runs for a duration of 10 teaching weeks (excluding half term week) and each class booked has a duration of a minimum of 45 minutes to 75 minutes depending on the level.
Private Classes
Private classes are available on request and are charged for separately to term fees.
Examinations
Pupils are given every opportunity to take Royal Academy of Dance Ballet examinations. We stage examination dates each term at our locations and will notify you in writing if we feel your child is ready for an exam. Royal Academy of Dance examination marks are awarded for different dance qualities assessed during the session and totalled to determine the overall award achieved.
These are categorised as follows:
- Distinction (75-100%),
- Merit (55-74%),
- Pass (40-54%),
- Standard Not Attained (0-39%).
Open Classes
Parents are invited and encouraged to view their children’s progress at Open Classes during the last week of each term.
Health and Safety
All our teachers are CRB checked. We carry Public liability insurance and teachers are trained to deal with medical emergencies.
